Logibel announces 100,000 sq. ft. of new indoor storage space in Saint-Lambert-de-Lauzon

Starting in 2026, Logibel will undertake a major expansion project in Saint-Lambert-de-Lauzon with the construction of two buildings totaling 100,000 square feet of indoor storage space. Designed to deliver flexibility, operational performance, and integrated rail access, these new spaces are now available for reservation.

Logibel will take a new step in its development with the launch, beginning in 2026, of the construction of a first 50,000-square-foot building on its Saint-Lambert-de-Lauzon site. A second building of the same size will follow, bringing the planned expansion to 100,000 square feet between 2026 and 2028.

Designed to meet the practical needs of today’s businesses, this project aims to provide a strategic, flexible indoor storage solution connected to rail. Modular spaces are now available for reservation for companies looking to plan their future indoor storage needs for materials.

This new development reflects Logibel’s commitment to investing in infrastructure that improves operational flow and supports its clients’ logistics performance. The buildings will notably feature integrated rail access, allowing loading and unloading operations to take place indoors, sheltered from the elements. This configuration helps reduce lead times, limit certain costs associated with off-site transloading, and ensure year-round operational continuity.

The project has also been designed to maximize on-the-ground efficiency. Each phase will include features sought after in a modern logistics environment, including 25-foot clear height, a column-free structure, an indoor overhead crane, as well as flexible and modular storage space. Truck-adapted access points, maneuvering areas, and preparation for potential future automation are also part of the selected approach.

Beyond physical capacity, Logibel is also focused on providing a safe and rigorous operating environment. The project includes indoor and outdoor video surveillance, an alarm system connected to a central monitoring station, secured access through a gate and entry control, as well as annual compliance inspections for safety equipment.

With this expansion, Logibel is continuing its commitment to delivering practical logistics solutions aligned with operational realities and the need for greater supply chain fluidity. This project represents an opportunity for companies looking to secure indoor storage space now in an environment designed for performance, flexibility, and multimodal integration.
